With the Google Classroom, institutions can create classes for their students and invite them to join the class through the institution’s database. Students can receive invites to classes through a private code or imported from the school domain. On joining a class as a student, a folder will be created on your drive, where you can submit your work, to be graded by the teacher. The teacher has the liberty to monitor your work progress and also announce to a class stream, where students can make comments.

What can Google classroom Not Do?

The Google classroom might be pretty impressive, but it does not have everything. It is not a fully blended learning management system like that of My Big Campus, and others.

The Google Classroom does not provide tests and quizzes. It does not provide chat features within the classroom itself. Students and teachers can only chat outside the classroom.

The announcement feature serves as an alternative to a regular forum feature, but it only serves that purpose in a limited way.
